Summer Meal Program

Site locations for the 2018 Summer Food Service Program are now available. The Summer Food Service Program ensures that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. This summer, the Putnam County School District plans to serve more than 35,000 free meals to children 18 years and under at approved SFSP sites.

Help us ensure that no child goes hungry this summer.

21st Century Community Learning Center(After School Program)

The 21st Century Community Century Learning Center  program provides opportunities for on-going learning experiences to students and parents, which include academic, enrichment, STEM, project based learning, literacy and homework assistance/tutoring.

This is a FREE program for students enrolled at select schools. Transportation home by district school buses is provided to students living in the targeted sites school zones.

The hours for the program begin after school and conclude 2.5 hours later Monday through Thursday (4:00 – 6:30pm.) excluding early release for students or holidays.

Every student is provided a snack by the food and Nutrition Services Department of the Putnam County School District at the beginning of each program day.

Parent and family involvement is a very important component of your child’s education, we encourage each adult family member to participate in this program as his/her schedule allows. Volunteering is an excellent way to show your commitment to the program.
