 WHAT IS AN ACADEMY?

An academy provides the foundation for a challenging program of study that leads you to your future career goal while in high school.  The program is designed around rigorous, relevant college-preparatory curriculum that is integrated with your career education major.
The academy teachers work in teams with small groups of students in each career academy to provide more individualized support and extensive career counseling for every student.  The academic teachers and the career education teachers will design course work together to maximize relevance of each subject.
Gain the edge of college preparation by being a dual enrollment student your junior and senior year.  Dual enrollment courses are part of the academy and will allow students to begin working on their AS or AA degree and take advantage of free tuition and free books.

Why Should I Enroll in an Academy?
