WHAT IS AN ACADEMY?
An academy provides the foundation for a challenging program of study that leads you to your future career goal while in high school. The program is designed around rigorous, relevant college-preparatory curriculum that is integrated with your career education major.
The academy teachers work in teams with small groups of students in each career academy to provide more individualized support and extensive career counseling for every student. The academic teachers and the career education teachers will design course work together to maximize relevance of each subject.
