Dear CCJSHS Families, This is a reminder that Crescent City Junior-Senior High School will remain closed for the remainder of the week, December 17–19, due to a power outage caused by an on-site issue involving a District contractor. Florida Power & Light has been working closely and promptly with Putnam County School District to address the issue. We would like to thank FPL for their quick response and continued diligence in assisting the District. Students should not report to campus during this time. Join PCSD for a LIVE parent event – Snapchat & Instagram Risks

Is your child begging for, or already using, Snapchat and Instagram? If so, join PCSD Superintendent Dr. Rick Surrency along with SmartSocial on Wednesday, November 5th at 7:00PM for a LIVE virtual event, designed to help parents learn why their kids want to Snapchat or Instagram and hidden risks you need to know about!:

These apps can be fun and creative, but big risks are hiding behind features like disappearing chats or “spam” and “finsta” accounts. What feels private to your teen can actually fuel comparison, anxiety, cyberbullying, and risky behavior.
